Air America Minnesota Signs Strinz Creative
Local radio home to Al Franken & Ed Shultz hires creative services firm to
(Eagan, MN) Strinz Creative, Inc., has been hired by JR Broadcasting, LLC, to perform a variety of creative services. The company will focus on maintaining Air America Minnesotas Web site and writing commercials for the stations growing list of advertisers.
This is perfect for Strinz Creative, according to J. Charles (Chuck) Strinz, Strinz Creative President. The company was originally established as a copywriting organization, then branched into online services back in 1983. But my first experience in advertising and promotion was in radio broadcasting, starting in 1970. While Strinz Creative has been involved in radio off and on, this is the first time the company has combined its resources as an Internet services firm and as a traditional promotional organization.
JR Broadcasting is launching liberal talk radio in Minnesota. The progressive lineup features national radio stars such as Al Franken and Ed Schultz, along with local programming including The Wendy Wilde Show and The Nick Coleman Show.
We are looking forward to working with Chuck and his associates, said Janet Robert, JR Broadcasting President. Chucks enthusiasm is contagious. Our clients have been pleased with the spots he has written, and his experience in promotion should serve us well as we continue to build an audience base.
Air America Minnesota, KTNF-AM at 950 on the dial, is currently the fastest growing radio station in the Twin Cities. The station has augmented the talents of former Minnesota personalities Al Franken and Katherine Lanpher with a collection of national Air America hosts to bring the growing liberal talk radio phenomenon to a large group of Minnesota listeners.
Strinz Creative has worked with a wide range of firms from San Francisco to Germany. The company was a pioneer in pre-Internet online communication, beginning in 1983. It helped establish the interactive services of many familiar traditional media firms including Minnesota Public Radio, WCCO-TV, and the Star Tribune.
More recently, Strinz wrote and produced an award-winning television program that is airing on PBS stations across the country. For more information on the program, visit www.backonthemississippi.com
I always like to do neat new things, Strinz said. I cant think of anything more interesting to work on, and more important in many ways, than Air America Minnesota.
