Writing and producing ain't no cakewalk.

I know. I've worked on everything from direct mail to television and beyond.

I set up my first online business in 1983. In the 80s & 90s, I worked with the France Telecom's innovative Minitel, a pre-Web visual telephone service, when it was tested in America.

As you'll see in my complete resume (click the link on the left), my radio experience started in 1970. After that, I worked as an advertising copywriter, studied filmmaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, pioneered online communications in the 80's, produced and hosted a groundbreaking syndicated radio program, wrote and produced an award-winning TV show for PBS stations and, as they say, much more.

There's one word I want you to remove from your thoughts right now: overqualified. Because it usually doesn't apply. I'm looking for opportunities to work on interesting projects of all sorts. Because I like to do all sorts of things, especially if they're neat and new (although I'm also rather partial toward radio work). People ask me what I do. I usually tell them I'm a moving target.

At this point in my life, I feel I have accomplished everything I set out to do. Anything after this is gravy.

So take a look. Explore a few of these Web pages.

Then drop a note if you have something that needs a new perspective backed by a lot of good old fashioned experience.

Or even if you just want to chat.
